This movie isn’t even faithful to Junior Eurovision, not even a 1%! Even the 1993 Super Mario Movie was more faithful to its source material, and it still set a really, really low bar for cinematic adaptations of video games! That's how you know this movie is a surefire disaster, and I'm certain that I'll never think of representing my home country in Junior Eurovision the same way again without somebody informing me that this dumpster fire exists! Thank a fuckin' lot, Nikol Pashinyan. Too many product placements for certain random things that have nothing to do with Junior Eurovision, mostly consisting of the 1994/1995 SNES Game EarthBound. What in the absolute hell was Minded Factory thinking when they came up with this? This right here, ladies and gentlecolts, is too much of a massive pain! I'm sorry, but I still can't fathom why they decided to insult the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, the biggest international song competition for kids aged 9 to 14, like this! I've seen this a record 18 times and even now, I still keep finding ways this piece of garbage failed! I don't even know why there are so many adult moments, in a MOVIE THAT'S AIMED AT PRETEENS! Some of the characters' races got changed like how Spanish Maria Isabel is changed to Japanese, and how Ukrainian Olena Usenko is changed to Puerto Rican, Maria Isabel doesn't even speak Spanish in this movie, even though in the actual contest, she is from Spain, a country that speaks Spanish (Except Catalonia), so you have a Japanese and Puerto Rican girl named Maria Isabel and Olena Usenko, No joke.
